What’s the best material for a front door?
Here at Clear Vision, we offer a range of materials that each boast their own advantages for homeowners. uPVC offers fantastic value without compromising on security. Composite doors marry robust construction with stylish aesthetics. Aluminium provides homeowners with robust reliability that is resistant to warping and corrosion.
What’s the difference between uPVC and composite doors?
uPVC doors are made from a plastic material called Unplasticised Polyvinyl Chloride. The material is easy to manufacture and easy to maintain. On the other hand, composite doors are manufactured from two or more materials, glued together under high-pressure conditions. They also have insulating foam cores to help reduce heat loss.
What colours can I choose from?
We offer an extensive range of colour options! For composite doors, we have 15 distinctive colour options. For uPVC doors, we offer 6 foil options that are guaranteed not to crack, peel, or fade. For aluminium door styles, we offer stylish finishes in black, white, or anthracite, with options for dual colours too.
What’s the difference between bi-fold and patio doors?
Both types of doors are made of multiple panels with large panes of glass. The panels of bi-fold doors, as the name suggests, fold over each and pile up in a neat stack. The panels of patio doors, however, slide over each other, moving along tracks embedded into the frame.
Is a flush floor possible with sliding patio doors?
Yes! Clear Vision work to ensure the installation of sliding patio doors gives homeowners a low threshold. Our sliding patio doors use different track arrangements in comparison to other folding doors which allow homeowners to opt for a low setting without compromising on weather resistance.
Are composite doors energy efficient?
Our composite doors are highly energy efficient. They feature an insulating core and come with a layer of Glass Reinforced Plastic on the exterior to protect against damage and the weather. With this extra insulation, bills will be reduced, and homes will be warmer.
How long will it take to install a door?
Entrance doors can be fitted within a day, which means your home isn’t put in a vulnerable position for any extended amount of time.
